Apostille is also a kind of attestation, where the attested copy has to follow a relevant format. The most important part of apostille attestation is that it is valid in the country which is part of the Hague Convention. However, there are around Ninety-two countries that are part of the Hague Convention. Apostille is done for all the certificates such as personal certificates, commercial certificates, and educational certificates.
As per the Hague convention treaty of 1961, Countries who has signed the convention are eligible for an apostille. With an apostille on your certificates, your certificates are valid in a foreign land. Unless the certificates are not apostilled, the documents or certificates are of no use.

Apostille is done on all kinds of Documents that are certificated. The certificate is distributed mainly in 3 different categories. They are Educational Certificates, Personal Certificates, and Commercial Certificates.
Process of Apostille for Hague Nation:
It is a three-step process for getting the certificate apostilled. Where a certificate goes through the different chambers of the Government cabinet. Documents are apostilled by legit personnel of the Government Authority. The process is illustrated below:
1. Basic level of attestation from State Notary Public. Which is done by Advocate.
2. The second level of attestation is done by State Home Department or Human Resource and Development Ministry. It is a state-level attestation, done by a recognized official.
3. At the third level, the documents are apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs. Ministry of External Affairs is also known as MEA, where the person does the final verification for apostille.
